YUM! The fried dough is to die for. So is the crumb cake. And don't forget the rolls. The only downfall of this place is that they only take cash. I have to have everything so this is a problem for me. Jenny T. (Boston, MA)

I LOVE THIS PLACE
I live right down the street and go at least once a week. They have great prepared foods and an incredible bakery selection. I especially love their tiramisu and canoli (which I think are better than any I've had in the North End). Ben K. (Boston, MA)

Good God !!! How have I not Yelped this place yet ?!?
Growing up in Southie, we went here all the time during the summer. Nana & Grandpa lived on 4st Street, just a few doors down from Joseph's. We would spend almost everyday in the pool (yes, a pool in Southie) with cousins. We would munch on the pizza from Joseph's for lunch almost EVERY DAY. I never got sick of it ! Maybe that's where I get my big butt from?
Besides great Sicilian style pizza, they have awesome Italian cookies, pastries, cakes, hot meals, hot subs, cold subs and a deli. They even cater.
This afternoon, I was walking Broadway with the baby in the carriage. I was there to visit a few stores. I got some twinges of hunger and I thought, "Mmmmm...Joseph's!"
I got two chicken cutlet subs and brought one home to my husband. It was as good as I remember! It's one of those places that you go to and can't decide what to get. Because everything looks so darn good!
PS - CASH ONLY! Rachele KM. (Quincy, MA)

Stop by at lunchtime and see the long line at the take out meal section. It is worth the wait! Chicken cutlet with ziti and chicken tenders are my favorites.
If you come by early morning you can enjoy a fresh baked roll right out of the oven with a cup of joe. Deli cold cuts sandwiches are also very good. Tons of cookies and sweets if you are so inclined.
Call ahead at lunch to beat the crowds. Bob Y. (Boston, MA)

I pretty much wanted to eat everything in this store. The cases are LOADED with amazing looking food and the prices are unbeatable! I haven't tried it yet but they have this monster woopie pie with a ton of frosting that looks ridiculous! The lunch section is like an awesome family cookout buffet. The tastes and prices totally beat out Sweet Tooth and I will definitely be doing my holiday baked good shopping here. Kristin N. (Quincy, MA)
